Broward Women's Chorus Holiday Concerts

Join the Broward Women’s Chorus for a holiday concert of favorite songs and songs that will become your new favorites.

Our 40-plus singers will entertain and move you in this gala, expanded version of our holiday concert. We will have a wine bar at intermission.

BWC is directed by Birgit Fioravante, a career opera singer and voice teacher, and accompanied by professional pianist Carolyn Morgan.

  • December 12, 2 p.m. BCC/North Regional Library, Coconut Creek. Free concert featuring some of the songs from our holiday concert.
  • December 15, 7 p.m. Sunshine Cathedral, Fort Lauderdale. Full concert with percussion and staging. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Broward Women's Chorus Wants You!

Come sing with us! Broward Women’s Chorus is seeking new members to join us and help make our music shine. Choral experience and reading music are a plus, but most important are your love of singing, camaraderie and commitment. We rehearse from 10 am. to noon on Wednesday mornings, September through mid-May, at Sunshine Cathedral in Fort Lauderdale.

The Broward Women’s Chorus will bring joy, beauty, musical excellence, and artistic quality to its performances for audiences in Greater Broward County.

Broward Women's Chorus

The Broward Women’s Chorus consists of about 35 energetic women who love to sing and entertain. We learn, rehearse and perform a medley of songs for December holiday concerts and prepare a different program for our spring shows. At our performances, it is exciting to be welcomed and treated as stars by the appreciative audiences at libraries, assisted living facilities, special events, and many other locations.

BWC is a non-profit organization and members are volunteers. Our choral director, Birgit Fioravante, is a professional opera singer and voice teacher who truly makes it all fun!

The experience and backgrounds of members vary. Some have not sung since high school glee club; others have been regulars in church choirs and other choral groups. We sing together and support one another; many of us joined the chorus because we loved to sing, and pretty soon we had a group of new best friends.

Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from September to May at Sunshine Cathedral, 1480 SW 9th Ave, Fort Lauderdale. If you think you might be interested in joining BWC, please come and sing with us!
